1. About Us / Our Role

Skillblastr was born with a clear mission: to break down the barriers between the world of creative design and the real productive and commercial needs of brands.

1.1 For Designers and Creatives: Not just an opportunity to win cash prizes, but a dynamic and meritocratic stage to test your ideas in the field, get a rigorous technical evaluation, and earn real opportunities for publication and image visibility of your concepts before a professional showcase.

1.2 For Companies and Brands: An agile, rapid, and targeted scouting hub. Instead of long and costly traditional selection processes, brands can intercept fresh ideas, innovative furniture concepts, and emerging talent selected through vertical and focused briefs. Skillblastr thus positions itself as the ideal connective link: a talent accelerator that turns raw creativity into evaluable projects, offering visibility to designers and concrete, market-ready solutions to brands.

2. How it works

An agile, transparent path based solely on merit and project quality.

2.1 TARGET SKILLBLASTR challenges are designed to reward real competence:

Variable Openings: Targets change depending on the challenge. Each Blastr may be open to professionals, students, or alumni of specific creative disciplines (e.g., interior design only, industrial design only, or open to all categories).
Access Specifications: Each brief clearly indicates in its title and technical sheet the target audience admitted to that specific competition.

2.2 PRIZE

Guaranteed Prize: Each Blastr provides a fixed and guaranteed economic prize for the project selected as the winner, disbursed according to the established terms.
Executive Verification: The winner will be notified via email. Within 7 days of the announcement, the winner must send the dimensioned construction details (in PDF format), material technical specifications, and personal data for project verification. If the verification fails or the winner fails to respond within the deadline, the prize and victory automatically pass to the second-selected project, and so on. We reserve the right to verify VAT numbers for contests reserved for professionals and proof of enrollment for those reserved for students.
Prize Disbursement: Following the successful verification of the winner, the prize is disbursed within 7 days of the end of the verification via bank transfer to the current account indicated by the winner.
Pure Merit: The jury evaluates concepts on an aesthetic and technical basis, rewarding alignment with the brief, formal clarity, and production feasibility, free from popularity logic or social voting.
Promotional License: By accepting the cash prize, the contest winner grants Skillblastr the non-exclusive right and license to publish, share, and exploit the image (JPG) of the winning project for advertising, promotional, and platform communication purposes.
Your Peace of Mind: Non-winning projects remain entirely confidential and protected. No work from non-winners is ever published or distributed, eliminating any risk of copying. Personal and professional data/verifications will be requested exclusively from the winner.

2.3 NATURE OF THE PARTICIPATION FEE, EVALUATION SERVICE, AND CONTEST REPORT

Nature of the Fee: The amount requested upon submitting an entry does not constitute in any way a ticket for a lottery, raffle, or fee-based prize contest pursuant to Italian Presidential Decree D.P.R. 430/2001, but represents the economic consideration for the purchase of a specialized digital service consisting of technical evaluation and critical analysis of the uploaded file.

Service Delivery (Contest Report): In exchange for the consideration referred to in paragraph 1, each participating user will receive, upon the closing of the contest terms, a digital summary document called the "Contest Report." This report will contain analytical evaluations, assigned scoring parameters (including, by way of example, aesthetics, speed, feasibility, and emotional impact), and the overall meritocratic ranking of all submitted entries.
Independence from the Prize: Any financial recognition or cash prize awarded to the first place winner constitutes a meritocratic incentive and an accessory scholarship granted by the platform as a consideration for artistic/professional enhancement. The award of said prize does not affect in any way the synallagmatic (exchange of mutual obligations) nature of the purchase contract for the technical evaluation service referred to in paragraph 1.
Express Acceptance: Submission of the entry and simultaneous payment of the fee imply unconditional acceptance of this clause, confirming that the transaction is exclusively aimed at obtaining the technical analysis service and the corresponding Contest Report.
Payment Method: Payment must be made exclusively through this website.

2.4 DEADLINE Each Blastr operates on a sold-out closing system to ensure efficiency and speed:

Participant Limit (Sold-Out): To ensure a sustainable working relationship and accurate evaluation, each challenge sets a maximum number of registrations. Once the maximum cap is reached, the contest closes. First come, first secured.

2.5 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS To keep evaluation fast, technical, and substance-focused, submission rules are standardized:

Submission Format: A single JPG image (max 1 MB). No complex technical reports at this stage: just pure creative BLAST!
Zero Bureaucracy: No complex paperwork required. No personal data needed upfront.
Submission Method: Participation allowed exclusively via the website form located under each brief.
File Naming: Name the file exclusively with the Blastr number and your international phone number format. Example: 001_0039xxxxxxxxxx.
Legal Notice: Payment of the entry fee and submission of the JPG imply full and tacit acceptance of all terms, conditions, and rules of use available on the dedicated [Terms and Conditions] page.
Payment Notice: We carefully check the consistency of the data entered in the form and the file name. If we find discrepancies, we will contact the contact details provided during submission.

2.6 BECOME A FANBLASTR: THE SOCIAL GAME No technical filters. Just hype and community. If you participated in a Blastr but didn't win the official jury selection, the game isn't over. We want to reward your energy and help you get noticed.

How it works: Take your discarded concept, post it on your Instagram profile, and tag @skillblastr.
The prize: The concept with the most likes earns a rightful place of honor in our exclusive showcase dedicated to Fanblastrs.
The golden rule: This is a parallel contest managed entirely by the community. It does not replace the technical judgment of the jury, but it's the best way to turn an unselected idea into pure organic visibility. Help us promote the platform and shine a light on your style!

3. Terms, Conditions, and Legal Notes

3.1 Nature of the Platform and Service Skillblastr is a digital scouting and consulting platform in the industrial and interior design sector, conceived and managed by qualified professionals. Skillblastr organizes periodic selections (hereinafter "Contests" or "Challenges") aimed at enhancing creative concepts, offering a structured service of technical evaluation, feasibility analysis, and art direction.

3.2 Participation Consideration (Secretarial and Evaluation Fee)

The fee paid for participating in each contest via the website does not constitute a betting tax, lottery ticket, or gambling participation title, but a consideration for a professional service.
Specifically, the fee covers secretarial duties, platform management, and the technical evaluation and scouting service consisting of in-depth analysis of the submitted work by a qualified jury, as well as sending the report to all participants of each contest to guarantee total transparency on the ranking.
The amount of the fee, as well as the prize pool, access requirements, and technical specifications, is defined and published individually for each challenge.

3.3 Technical Jury Evaluation Criteria Entries will be evaluated by a technical jury based on 10 specific parameters. Each criterion will be assigned a score from 1 to 9. The sum of the partial scores will determine the total score and the final ranking; the work achieving the highest overall score will be declared the winner.

The evaluation criteria are as follows:

The Blast Factor: Evaluates immediate visual impact, energy, and disruptiveness of the graphic concept at first glance.
Synthetic Force: Measures the ability to communicate the message in an extreme, clean way devoid of superfluous elements (zero-text).
Brief Alignment: Verifies the entry's responsiveness to the assigned theme.
Originality: Considers the degree of innovation, freshness, and unconventionality of the proposed idea.
Executive Quality: Evaluates technical care, formal cleanliness, and visual mastery of the presented image.
Functional Logic: Examines credibility and intrinsic coherence of the visual solution applied to the object.
Disruption: Measures the work's ability to surprise the observer by overturning common expectations.
Memorability: Evaluates how well the image remains imprinted in memory and proves recognizable over time.
Scalable Potential: Considers the work's effectiveness in lending itself to cross-media communication with strong digital impact.
Regulation Compliance: Verifies rigorous adherence to requested technical specs (e.g., JPG format, 1 MB limit, absence of text on the image).

4. Intellectual Property, Publication, and Promotional Exploitation

4.1 Full Retention of Rights for Participants: Each participant retains full ownership and intellectual property of their creative concept. Non-winning projects remain the exclusive property and confidentiality of the author: no work from non-winning participants will ever be published or distributed, totally protecting ideas from any risk of copying or exploitation, except for projects opting to participate in the FANBLASTR SOCIAL GAME.

4.2 Promotional Use of the Winning Project: By accepting the cash prize, the contest winner grants Skillblastr the non-exclusive right and license to publish, share, and exploit the image (JPG) of the winning project for advertising, promotional, and platform communication purposes.

4.3 Winner's Freedom of Choice (Anonymity or Visibility): The winner has full discretion over how their identity is displayed: they can choose to remain anonymous while collecting the prize and authorizing the publication of the visual concept only, or associate their name, surname, and professional details to use the victory as a stepping stone toward brands.

4.4 Nature of the Prize: The cash prize paid to the winner constitutes economic recognition for design merit and, simultaneously, the consideration for granting promotional publication rights for the winning concept image. Any industrial development agreements or patent rights transfers will be subject to separate external negotiations.

5. Originality Guarantee, Indemnity, and Waiver of Liability for Plagiarism

5.1 Each participant guarantees that the submitted entry is an original work of their own intellect, that it does not violate copyright, trademarks, patents, or other third-party rights in any way, and does not constitute plagiarism or counterfeiting of third-party works.

5.2 Skillblastr declines all civil and criminal liability regarding the originality of concepts submitted by users. The author of the work assumes total and complete legal and financial responsibility for any violation of third-party rights.

5.3 By participating, the user expressly indemnifies Skillblastr, its managers, and brand partners from any claim, damage compensation request, legal action, or cost arising from disputes concerning the authorship or originality of the presented project.

6. Prize Assignment, Requirements Verification, Authenticity, and Ranking Sliding

6.1 Participation Requirements: Each contest is reserved exclusively for the user categories specified in the reference brief (e.g., students of specific faculties, professionals with VAT numbers, etc.). Requirements verification is not required during registration to keep the procedure streamlined and accessible, but may be requested at the time of award.

6.2 Documentation Burden: The assignment of the prize is strictly subject to formal verification. The winner bears the sole burden of promptly sending all necessary technical and biographical documentation (including source/executive files of the concept, technical reports, and proof of category requirements declared in the brief) requested by the organization to prove the work's authenticity, authorship, real technical feasibility, and right of access to the challenge.

6.3 Forfeiture and Sliding: In the event that the winner does not respond, lacks the required requirements, refuses to undergo verifications, or fails to send the required documentation within the peremptory term of 7 (seven) calendar days from official notification, they shall immediately forfeit all rights to the prize. In such cases, the organization will proceed to slide the ranking in favor of the second-place finisher, repeating the same verification procedure.

7. Dispute Resolution and Competent Court

7.1 Applicable Law: These Terms and Conditions, as well as any contractual relationship arising from participation in challenges on SKILLBLASTR, are governed exclusively by Italian law.

7.2 Conciliation Attempt: For any dispute arising in relation to the interpretation, execution, or validity of these terms, the parties commit to attempting an amicable settlement before initiating any legal action.

7.3 Competent Court: In the event of disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, if the user acts as a professional or holder of a VAT number, the Court of Florence shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For users qualifying as consumers under the law, the mandatory court of the consumer's residence or domicile shall apply.
